The Lay Lab is located in Biopolis, a constellation of biomedical research institutions under Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), ranging from cell biology, genomics and immunology to bioinformatics and biotechnology. Nearby is Fusionopolis, A*STAR's R&D hub for engineering, physical sciences and computing, facilitating highly cross-disciplinary research among academia, government and industry.

We are part of the A*STAR Skin Research Labs (A*SRL), whose vision is to create innovative solutions for improved skin health with societal and economic impact. At A*SRL, we have the following capabilities:

We also actively work with clinicians in the National Skin Centre and KK Women's and Children's Hospital. We are affiliated with Skin Research Institute of Singapore (SRIS), a tripartite collaboration between A*STAR, National Healthcare Group (NHG) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that harnesses the expertise of scientists, clinicians and engineers to conduct impactful interdisciplinary skin research that can be translated into improved patient care.
